In keeping with the tradition of the Discover Collection, Banana Republic named these fragrances after luxurious natural materials that represent the ultimate in femininity and masculinity, respectively, and instantly bring to mind a unique color and texture. The two new fragrances each sit inside a dramatic signature keepsake box, the signature of the FiFi finalist Discover Collection, which is carved entirely of natural wood and serves as a testament to the high-end craftsmanship and adoration of natural materials. Cutting through these boxes is an embedded colored band that represents the spirit of the fragrance that is inside (Malachite has a green band and Cordovan has a copper one).

The wood boxes, which are held together by a cutting-edge magnetic mechanism, click apart to reveal a uniquely-shaped glass bottle sitting inside, a surprising juxtaposition of natural textures that celebrates balance and duality as only Banana Republic can.
