Authentica
“Authentica provides Active Rights ManagementTM protection to email and documents, ensuring that only authenticated users can view, edit and forward the information,” said Norman Meisner, vice president of business development at Authentica. “By integrating Symantec’s email security appliances with Authentica Secure Mail 4.0, organizations can protect email communication at the sender, server and recipient level. Authentica’s rights management enables organizations to effectively limit information leakage, protect intellectual property, and meet compliance and regulation standards related to security and auditing of confidential information.”

Avinti
“The Avinti iSolation Server enhances gateway security solutions with unique ‘First Instance’ zero-day threat protection to safeguard organizations from both newly emerging and targeted e-mail threats, including attempts to facilitate outside access to protected personal and private data”, said Terry Dickson, CEO, Avinti. “Security-conscious customers deploy this virtual machine-based solution at the network edge to observe and detect actual malicious behavior in e-mail messages, enabling protection at the very first instance of a newly emerging or targeted threat.”

PGP Corporation
“PGP Universal allows email messages identified as ‘confidential’ by the Symantec Mail Security 8200 Series to be encrypted, digitally signed, and delivered automatically without disrupting users or changing email systems,” said Alex Doll, vice president of business development at PGP Corporation. “Our products are standards-based, proven over 10 years, fully automated, and inexpensive to own – resulting in more than 1 million seats licensed to more than 30,000 companies in 174 countries. In 84% of the Fortune® 100, 66% of the Fortune® Global 500, as well as medium and small businesses, PGP products protect customer privacy and support regulatory compliance.”

Voltage Security
“The powerful combination of Symantec Mail Security and Voltage SecureMail, utilizing award-winning Voltage Identity-Based Encryption (IBE) technology, provides the easiest to use and manage policy-based secure messaging environment. Enterprise customers can easily implement granular encryption polices to ensure compliance of communications between customers, partners and vendors,” said Ray Kruck, vice president of business development at Voltage Security. “For instance, customers of our joint solution are able to use common policy to ensure that sensitive information does not leave the network via email without first being encrypted.”

Vontu
“Vontu integrates with Symantec Mail Security to deliver a best-in-class content monitoring solution to reduce compliance risk by preventing customer data or intellectual property from being sent via email that violates internal or government policies,” said Lorna Bender, Vontu’s vice president of business development. "The combination of Vontu and Symantec allows companies to demonstrate compliance with regulations that require protection of customer information such as Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), Visa-MasterCard PCI Data Security Standard, Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA and state regulations such as California SB1386/AB1950.”

ZixCorp
“By using ZixCorp services, Symantec customers will be able to easily implement policy based encryption using content scanning and robust lexicons to automatically meet best practices and government regulations such as HIPAA and GLBA,” said Nigel Johnson, vice president of business development and product management for ZixCorp. “Our proven ZixVPM® 2.3 solution enables send-to-anyone capability, transparency to end users, and customizable features that ensure company security policies are implemented automatically.”
