LogicVision Names Richard Okumoto To Board of Directors

LogicVision, Inc. (NASDAQ: LGVN), a leading provider of silicon test and yield learning solutions, today announced the appointment of Richard Okumoto, 54, as a new independent member of LogicVision’s board of directors. In addition to serving on the Board, Mr. Okumoto has been appointed as the chairman of the audit committee, replacing Richard Yonker who is now a member of the audit committee, as well as the chairman of the nominating and corporate governance committee.

Mr. Okumoto most recently served as a director of Vitex Systems Inc., a provider of ultra-thin barrier films used in flat panel displays. Previously, he was the chief financial officer and secretary of Photon Dynamics, Inc., a manufacturer of capital equipment for the flat panel display industry. Prior to that, Mr. Okumoto was vice president of administration and chief financial officer at Electro Scientific Industries, Inc., a manufacturer of semiconductor capital equipment. He was also executive vice president of The Garrett Group, a technology financial services firm; senior vice president and general manager of the I.C.E. division of Credence Systems Corporation, a manufacturer of semiconductor capital equipment.; president and chief executive officer of TMT, Inc., a manufacturer of semiconductor capital equipment; and, executive vice president and chief financial officer for Credence Systems Corporation. Mr. Okumoto holds B.S. in Business Administration from San Jose State University.
