CP Strike not expected to impact VIA Rail Canada services throughout the country

Montréal - VIA Rail Canada wishes to assure travellers that it does not anticipate an impact on any of its services across the country as a result of the job action by members of Canadian Pacific Railway’s maintenance workers.

With a few minor exceptions (Sudbury to White River Tr# 185-186), VIA services operate over the tracks of other railways and as such are not impacted by the strike.
