DuPont to Exhibit at SID 2007
The SID International Symposium, Seminar and Exhibition, now in its 45th year, is the premier international gathering of scientists, engineers, manufacturers and users in the electronic-display industry.
DuPont will exhibit ground-breaking process technology, proprietary materials and films across four display technologies: LCDs, OLEDs, PDPs and FEDs. For LCDs, DuPont will feature a completely dry, maskless color filter manufacturing system which employs direct writing; advanced composite reflectors with significantly enhanced light management properties; and a Direct Bonding enhancement technology which dramatically improves the outdoor readability and durability of displays. In OLEDs, DuPont will demonstrate solution-processed AMOLED displays, HIL material and encapsulation technology. In PDPs, DuPont will highlight environmentally-friendly pastes and new processes that improve pattern resolution. In FEDs, DuPont will show its advancements in the development of carbon nanotube (CNT)-based field-emission technology. For various types of displays, DuPont will exhibit a single-layer, wet-coated anti-reflective film with excellent abrasion resistance. DuPont Teijin Films will exhibit industry-leading PET and PEN polyester films and a wide range of stabilized and planarized film for flexible displays and printable electronics.
