BURLINGTON, Mass.– Following the opening of the inaugural Connect store in Medford, Mass., Comcast and Circuit City Stores, Inc., announced the two companies have teamed up again to open their second Connect location, bringing the boutique-style retail destination to Burlington, Mass.

Connect allows people to create and customize their digital home with the best in new electronics and HD, high-speed Internet and voice services by combining a selection of high-end products from Circuit City and services from Comcast. The store showcases the latest in entertainment and communication, complete with interactive demos and expert consultants that can provide full-service support from point-of-sale to custom installations.

Products featured at the store will include LCD, plasma and DLP televisions; laptop PCs; digital cameras; MP3 players and accessories, along with the triple play of services offered by Comcast, including Comcast Digital Cable with ON DEMAND; HD programming and DVR service; Comcast High-Speed Internet; and Comcast Digital Voice®. Connect customers have the ability to arrange for home theater installations, PC services and integration of home electronics by firedogSM technicians through Circuit City.

Connect is unique because its staff is trained on both Comcast and Circuit City products and services to create a more seamless shopping experience. For example, a Connect consultant can assist a customer with the selection, purchase and installation of an HDTV, as well as Comcast Digital Cable with HD. In the Burlington location, firedogSM technicians are also on-site to assist with troubleshooting and repairs of computers that customers bring in to the store.

“With the successful launch of our first Connect store, we are excited to open a second location in Burlington where people can experience the best of Comcast’s video, high-speed Internet and phone services with Circuit City’s electronics in a comfortable, home-like setting,” said Kevin Casey, president of Comcast’s NorthCentral Division. “Connect makes it easy, convenient and enjoyable for consumers to create their own digital home.”

“We’re pleased to join with Comcast to open a second Connect store in the Boston market,” said Steven P. Pappas, Circuit City’s senior vice president, president small stores. “Connect offers an exciting new retail destination where customers can more simply create and customize their digital home with our products and services and Comcast’s services, available in one setting.”

The Burlington community is invited to join Circuit City and Comcast as they celebrate the grand opening of Connect May 4-6, 2007. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy family-friendly games and contests, face painting, balloons, product discounts, and a chance to win a number of prizes such as Samsung 42” LCD TVs and one-year subscriptions for Comcast’s Triple Play of services.
