GPC Biotech Schedules Conference Call on May 15th to Discuss First Quarter 2007 Financial Results

Martinsried/Munich (Germany), Princeton, N.J., May 7, 2007 – GPC Biotech AG (Frankfurt Stock Exchange: GPC; TecDAX index; NASDAQ: GPCB) today announced that the Company will hold a conference call on May 15, 2007 at 2 PM CET/8 AM ET to discuss its financial results for the first quarter of 2007 and provide an update on the Company’s business. The results will be published on May 15 in advance of the conference call.
