Nero Announces Nero PhotoShow Deluxe 5

Latest version of photo/video software offers many more presentation, management and sharing options, plus Vista™ compatibility

Nero, leaders in digital media technology, today introduces Nero PhotoShow Deluxe 5, the revamped and greatly enhanced edition of the company’s popular photo management, editing, and sharing suite. The new version provides users with a host of new, cutting edge features designed to quickly transform photos and video clips into dynamic movies with personalized music soundtracks.

Nero PhotoShow 5 provides users with 88 One-Click styles to create PhotoShows instantly with diverse musical and visual styles. Users can download any MP3 song files or choose from a provided library of four hundred licensed music tracks from known recording artists. Broadcast quality 3D effects and transitions, including pans, zooms and overlays, as well as new fonts, title packages and animations make PhotoShows look better than ever before.

The simple, friendly and intuitive interface enables users to enhance and edit photos, fine-tune brightness, contrast, and color saturation, remove red-eye and apply dozens of filters and motion effects. Colorful frames and “thought bubbles” can also be added to photos and videos.

The package’s bundled tools make the management of photos and video clips quick and easy. Once installed, the software automatically takes an inventory of all photos and video content stored on a PC and arranges it in an easy-to-navigate hierarchy. The categorized photos and video clips are easy to tag with ratings, comments, and keywords to make them easily searchable. Additional images can be automatically imported from digital cameras, memory cards, photo CDs, and even other Nero PhotoShows.

Licensed music from a wide range of genres includes recordings from John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Big Bad Voodoo, Isaac Hayes, and many more. Alternatively, users can pull in music from their own collections.
There are several ways to share completed PhotoShows. They can be burned to DVD for playback in most DVD players, sent to friends and family by email (with pre-download preview), or posted on personal or family web sites, or to PhotoShow.com web site. Users can also post their PhotoShows to Myspace.

PhotoShow.com, the essential companion service to Nero PhotoShow Deluxe 5, is an online photo sharing community that provides each user with their own web page to display presentations. Users can choose to limit access to their PhotoShows to family and friends via password protection.
