Cleber Morais Appointed Managing Director of Avaya Brazil
São Paulo - Avaya Inc. (NYSE:AV), a leading global provider of business applications, software and services, today said Cleber Pereira de Morais will join Avaya as managing director of Avaya Inc.’s subsidiary in Brazil, Avaya Brasil Ltda.
As Managing Director for Avaya Brasil Ltda., Mr. Morais will be responsible for all Avaya operations in Brazil reporting directly to Elizabeth Garcia, vice president, Avaya CALA.

Cleber Morais joins Avaya from Sun Microsystems, where he was the Country Manager in Brazil for four years and held a series of senior leadership roles, with a particular focus on commercial area, both in direct sales, marketing and channel sales. Previously Mr. Morais worked for IBM Brazil and held a variety of sales role, including leading the Financial Services vertical organization.
Mr. Morais holds a degree in Eletronic Engineering from University Engineering Mauá in San Paulo, Brazil. Extensive professional training in the areas of sales, relationship building and leadership, certified from Columbia University Business School, University of Pennsylvania and Fundação Getúlio Vargas. He is an active member of Amcham, IBCD and BRASSCOM.
Additionally Luiz Fernando Camargo, who was responsible for all operations in Brazil on an interim basis, has been appointed as Sales Director for Avaya Brasil Ltda. In his new position Mr. Camargo will lead all sales strategies, remain focused on alliances, industry verticals, including direct and indirect sales, delivering the full breadth of the Avaya portfolio of solutions to all client segment. Camargo has more than fifteen years on the telecommunication market, his background and know how will help the company to achieve profitable growth.
