Panorama, The Video Division Of Wohler Technologies Inc, Releases A New Series Of Professional Grade High Definition LCD Monitors

Panorama, the video division of Wohler Technologies Inc., announces the first WUXGA 1920 x 1200 native resolution high definition, 17-inch, rack mounted LCD video monitor. Also being launched is a new 8.4-inch HD/SD-SDI LCD video monitor. The new HD MON professional series addresses the industry’s need for replacement CRTs. The HD MON series offers a slim, sleek, space saving design and can easily convert from a rack mount to a table top solution without any additional hardware.

Wohler’s new line of professional grade video monitors accept composite and component video, S-video, DVI, PC and have HD/SD-SDI video input with buffered loop throughs; no options cards are required because these monitors have it all. The control settings are easily accessible from the front panel or can be configured remotely via 10/100 Base-T connector. This remote feature allows users to conveniently fine-tune units, also to copy and paste setups from one monitor to another using a laptop or PC.

The HD MON 170 is the only fully HD WUXGA capable, 17-inch rack mountable LCD monitor in the market that is network configurable. The HD MON 170 delivers the same 132 square inch viewable screen as a 20-inch 16:9 CRT display in only 6RU. With a native resolution of 1920 x 1200, this unit is an ideal solution for monitoring high definition signals.

The HD MON 90 is an 8.4-inch HD/SD-SDI video monitor. Designed for field and in house applications, it has all of the features essential to broadcast professionals; user-adjustable scaling and motion interpolation, power-saving auto shut off, 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratios and a high resolution screen with 1024 x 768 resolution. This compact, 4RU monitor, fits side-by-side in a standard rack or can be easily adapted for portable use.
