LLOYD J. GRONNING Named Vice President (Parsons)


PASADENA, CA – Parsons announced that Lloyd J. Gronning, P.E., has been promoted to vice president in the company’s rapidly expanding Water & Infrastructure group (PWI).

Mr. Gronning, who has more than three decades of engineering experience, is program manager for the Southern Nevada Water Authority, which serves the Las Vegas metropolitan area. He leads Parsons’ team working in support of the Authority by providing program management and planning, environmental, and construction management services on $200 million worth of the agency’s construction projects.

Mr. Gronning has successfully led construction projects and technical studies in Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Oregon, and served as senior technical advisor for a major reservoir project in Brazil. Prior to joining Parsons, Mr. Gronning worked as utilities director for the city of Thornton, Colorado, from 1978 to 1984.

Mr. Gronning is a licensed professional engineer (P.E.) in Colorado, Nevada, and Wyoming, a fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers, and a diplomate of both the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from the University of Notre Dame and Colorado State University, respectively, and a master of business administration degree from the University of Denver.
