Honda Marine Names First "Master Techs"
Honda Marine has recognized two dealer technicians as its first-ever “Master Techs.” Anthony Towns of Abel’s Marine, Englewood, Fla., and Kenney Meyers of Paradise Marine, Gulf Shores, Ala., achieved “Master Tech” status following a series of rigorous tests at Honda’s training facility in Orlando, Florida.
33 Honda service technicians were tested on Honda-specific skills including technical processes, maintenance procedures, service diagnostics and repair support resources. Of that group, Towns and Meyers were the sole recipients of the “Master Tech” title.
“Anthony Towns and Kenny Meyers represent the best and brightest among Honda Marine service technicians,” said Paul Sabourin, national service manager, Honda Marine. “Their outstanding knowledge base offers customers in Englewood and Gulf Shores an unparalleled service experience.”
Towns and Meyers will hold the title of “Master Tech” for two years, after which they will be re-tested.
Synonymous with a proud legacy of innovation and leadership, Honda Marine has remained at the forefront of 4-stroke outboard performance, technology and quality for more than 40 years, working to continually change the shape of the marine industry.
