D-LINK® AND WESTCON GROUP™ Announce north american distribution agreement

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. and TARRYTOWN, NY,— D-Link®, the end-to-end networking solutions provider for business and consumers, and Westcon Group, Inc., the world’s leading specialty distributor in networking, security, mobility and convergence, announced a distribution agreement in which Westcon Group™ will offer D-Link’s xStack™ line of business networking and connectivity solutions through its extensive network of value added resellers (VARs) across North America.

Under terms of the agreement, Westcon Group will leverage its infrastructure to offer D-Link’s high-quality yet competitively priced xStack networking products to its focused network of solution providers, value-added resellers, integrators and dealers in the convergence channel. D-Link products offer a complementary solution for Westcon Group’s major networking customers who rely on its specialized expertise in convergence and security products and other complex and advanced technologies.

Among the full array of business products to be distributed by Westcon Group will be D-Link’s xStack Multilayer Switch Series, a line of enterprise-class switching products that provide the industry’s highest density gigabit connectivity, managed Layer 2 Ethernet switching, full-featured Layer 3 IP routing, robust security, advanced Quality of Service (QoS), and fast 10-gigabit support.

D-Link also now offers a series of TAA-compliant switch offerings from its award-winning line of fully managed business-class stackable switches, including the powerful xStack DXS-3250 gigabit switch. By developing products compliant with TAA, D-Link will be eligible to sell its most popular switching solutions on General Service Administration (GSA) supply schedules.
