On Earth Day Recycle Old Computers and Help the Environment - EPA’s 1st Capital Area eCycling Event

EPA, Dell Inc., TechTurn and the National Recycling Coalition are joining together to encourage greater-Washington, D.C., area residents and businesses to recycle unwanted computer equipment on Earth Day. Recycling electronics is something every American can do to protect the planet and to encourage the sustainable reuse of materials.

Any make or model of computers and related equipment, including computers, monitors, printers, scanners, keyboards, mice, and laptops brought to Freedom Plaza will be collected and safely recycled for free. (Remove all data from the computer’s hard drive and any removable media such as disks, PC cards, flash drives, CD-ROMs.)
