The Show Must Go On

Euclid, OH, July 6, 2005: EARTH Consulting, Ltd. recently received a phone call requesting help with cleaning the fuel tanks on two portable generator sets. The generators were enroute from Detroit, where they had provided temporary power at the NBA finals to Pittsburgh where they were scheduled to provide power at a Jimmy Buffet concert in PNC Park. EARTH Consulting, Ltd. was told that they were the latest of about 12 phone calls, and the 11th call had said that EARTH Consulting, Ltd. could take care of the problem. EARTH Consulting, Ltd. then contacted Collins Equipment Corporation in Cleveland who had the experience and capacity to help get this problem solved. Logistical issues delayed the arrival of the generators in Cleveland by nearly 12 hours, yet, the fuel in the tanks was filtered and cleaned and the filters on the fueling system serviced in time for the generators to make the concert “load-in” in Pittsburgh.
