LONDON - BackgammonMasters.com will auction off heavyweight boxer Roman Greenberg famous shorts for $100,000 in an effort to help the young prospect make it to the world championship. All proceeds will go to charity for Arab and Jewish youth in distress.

BackgammonMasters.com recently purchased Roman Greenberg’s boxing shorts for a hefty sum in an effort to help the young prospect make it to the top of the professional boxing ranks.

The money will go directly to help Greenberg train and improve his boxing skills. By paying such a huge amount for his shorts, the online backgammon company is effectively sponsoring the young heavyweight boxing hopeful in his effort to take on one of the WBO’s top 5 boxers this year.

After the big fight, BackgammonMasters will auction off Greenberg’s famous shorts with backgammon tournament bidding starting at $100,000. All proceeds will go to charity for Arab and Jewish youth in distress. BackgammonMasters believes through sports, and particularly games like backgammon, or Tavla, which is immensely popular in Arab countries, people can unite peacefully, and a brighter future for everyone can be realized. BackgammonMasters plans to continue supporting similar sports and backgammon events to achieve peace in this unique challenging way.

At 24, Greenberg is one of the youngest heavyweights to compete at this prestigious level of professional boxing. With his mature boxing style and undefeated record of 25-0 (17 KO’s) Greenberg has all of the makings of a WBO heavyweight champ and is currently the IBO Intercontinental heavyweight champion.

BackgammonMasters has sponsored Greenberg since the beginning of his career and continues to support this talented young boxer who recently commented on his chances. “It doesn’t matter what people say about me. I am undefeated. That says enough. I am winning and that is most important. My main target is to be world champ” said Greenberg.

Greenberg beat veterans Kendrick Releford, Julius Francis, Steve Pannell and in his last bout won against American Michael Simms at the world famous Madison Square Garden in NYC. Roman currently resides in the UK where he trains with Jim Evans.

Along with this latest headline-grabber, BackgammonMasters has been getting a lot of attention recently. BackgammonMasters is the only game company in history to create an online version of the Spanish dice game, Perudo. Also, in the tradition of their 3D avatar online backgammon game software they recently added Poker to their Game Lobby, making it the first 3-in-1 game software of its kind.
