Yale Autism Expert Discusses Expanded Clinical Services for Childhood Disorders

New Haven, Conn. — Fred R. Volkmar, M.D., director of the Yale Child Study Center and a renowned expert in autism and related disorders, will discuss the expansion of the Center’s specialty clinical services to Greenwich hospital on Monday, April 23, 7 p.m. at Greenwich Library, 101 W. Putnam Ave., Greenwich.

Volkmar will present his vision for the new clinical services, which will also benefit clients from throughout the New York metropolitan region during “The Yale Community Forum: Clinical Services for Childhood Disorders.”

Yale Child Study Center faculty members will make presentations on anxiety, autism, early childhood, learning disabilities, psychopharmacology and Tourette syndrome.

Parents, educators, physicians and those interested in learning more about childhood disorders and the availability of clinical services are invited to attend.
