LOS ANGELES, CA - Comedian and actress Margaret Cho is happy to be experiencing a creative resurgence. In addition to her busy tour schedule, Cho also maintains an award winning blog, has taken up bellydancing, and recently started hosting her own variety show, “The Sensuous Woman.” Featuring a stellar lineup of comedians, bellydancers and burlesque superstars, “The Sensuous Woman” has been playing monthly in Los Angeles and San Francisco and is being developed for an off-broadway run in the fall. Margaret says, “There’s a lot of gender swapping and gender play. It’s the gayest show you could have with women stripping in it.” Margaret has also returned to primetime TV with recent guest star stints in the Sci-Fi Channel mini-series “The Lost Room” with Julianna Marguiles and Peter Krause, and a recurring role on Fox’s “’Til Death” starring Brad Garrett. Margaret is also branching out into directing and just wrapped shooting on the short film, “Two Sisters,” starring Yunjin Kim (“LOST”), Tamlyn Tomita and Kal Penn (“HAROLD AND KUMAR GO TO WHITE CASTLE”). In addition, Margaret has announced a slate of new projects that will have her everywhere this Summer and Fall.

For the first time ever, music legends and today’s hottest artists take the stage for a historical musical event -- Cyndi Lauper, Erasure, Debbie Harry, The Dresden Dolls, The Gossip and The Misshapes with host Margaret Cho join in celebration of the inaugural “True Colors” concert tour in support of the Human Rights Campaign. This 15 city nationwide tour, presented by Logo, kicks off Gay & Lesbian Pride Month on June 8th at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. The concerts will feature five hours of nonstop music with other exciting special guests appearing on select dates throughout the tour including Rufus Wainwright, Rosie O’Donnell and Indigo Girls with additional guests to be announced. Host for the musical events, Margaret Cho says, “I am thrilled to be part of this tour because I am about as colorful and as queer as it gets. Who else is going to keep all those Queens in line?”
