Eric Calderon Joins Auberge Resorts As Vice President Of Operations
MILL VALLEY, CALIF (April 12, 2007) -- Auberge Resorts, a leading luxury resort investment, development and management company, today announced that Eric Calderon has joined the company as Vice President of Operations.
In this newly created position, Calderon will oversee operations at Auberge Resorts’ collection of luxury properties, Auberge du Soleil, Calistoga Ranch, Esperanza and The Inn at Palmetto Buff, while also playing an operational role in the development of the company’s resort projects underway in Santa Fe, N.M.; on the island of St. Kitts; and in Sonoma County, Calif.

Calderon, who most recently served as Chief Operating Officer for Ty Warner Hotels & Resorts, has more than 30 years experience in the luxury hotel and resort industry. During his more than 18 years as Vice President and General Manager at the Aspen Skiing Company, he oversaw operations at several of the West’s leading resorts and private clubs, including the Mobil Five-Star, Five Diamond-rated Little Nell, where he was instrumental in developing the $150 million Residences at the Little Nell; the Snowmass Club and Snowmass Club Residences and the Aspen Mountain Club.
His earlier career includes management positions with other leading luxury hotel brands, including Pebble Beach Resorts, Four Seasons Hotels and Westin Hotels & Resorts. He began his career at the Palace Hotel, Gstaad, Switzerland.
A graduate of the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, Switzerland, Calderon has served as a board member of Relais & Châteaux, the Aspen Community Foundation and the Aspen Valley Medical Foundation.
Calderon will be based at Auberge Resorts’ headquarters in Mill Valley, Calif.
