Virus Bulletin tests: three and a half years of success!
Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management systems, announces the successful results of yet another test conducted by the authoritative British magazine Virus Bulletin. Kaspersky Lab remains the only developer of information security solutions in the world whose products have successfully passed all Virus Bulletin tests in the past three and a half years.
In the April edition, Virus Bulletin published the test results of antivirus solutions on the Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server platform. Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Samba Server version 5.5.9 participated in the test. Virus Bulletin experts characterized the quality of detecting malicious programs by Kaspersky Anti-Virus as “superb”, and file scanning, according to their opinion, was conducted “thoroughly and reliably”. The Kaspersky Lab product detected and neutralized 100% of all malicious programs that were used in the Virus Bulletin test. As a result, Kaspersky Anti-Virus deservingly received the award VB 100%, a prestigious sign of its high effectiveness, which was acknowledged by antivirus experts.
This latest test is a continuation of the success of Kaspersky Lab products, which have received awards in every test conducted by Virus Bulletin since August 2003.
