PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. - Allan M. Prindle is the new President and CEO of Power Financial Credit Union. Prindle previously served as Power Financial’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer since October 2006. Prior to the merger with Power Financial Credit Union, Prindle held the position of President and CEO of Pan Am Horizons Federal Credit Union.

“Allan’s promotion to President and CEO is well deserved,” said Leman Murray, Power Financial’s Chairman of the Board. “He is a dedicated leader with more than 20 years of diverse banking experience and a track record of success. Allan recognizes the tremendous benefits that a credit union like ours can deliver to its members and is enthusiastic about the opportunity to promote this to the South Florida region. On behalf of the entire board, we congratulate Allan and look forward to the continued success of the Credit Union under his leadership.”

“I continue to be impressed with Power Financial’s focused business strategy, and I enthusiastically embrace the opportunity to work with the senior management team in providing a lifetime of financial well-being for our members and further expanding the Credit Union’s presence in the tri-county area,” said Prindle. “In addition, with technology playing a growing role in our daily lives, it’s important that we leverage this as we build for our future. Our members will surely benefit from the added convenience.”

Prindle holds a Master of Business Administration from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from University of Lowell in Lowell, MA. He has served on a number of industry boards including a founding board member for the South Florida Acceptance Company, L.L.C. and a member of the National Association of Federal Credit Unions Region III Advisory Committee.

Prindle is also active in the community having served on the advisory board for Camillus House, a non-profit organization in Miami serving the area’s homeless and needy, among other organizations. While Prindle has received many awards and honors, one that stands out above the others is the 2001 Dora Maxwell Award from the Florida Credit Union League for his commitment to the community.

“With all of the resources we have in the business community, I truly believe it’s our responsibility to give back to those in need,” added Prindle. “At Power Financial, we make it a part of our business to reach out into the community affording me the ideal opportunity – to represent my credit union and give back to the community simultaneously.”
