Digital River, Inc. (NASDAQ: DRIV), a global leader in e-commerce outsourcing, today announced that it is offering enhanced digital delivery capabilities for the gaming community. Through a partnership with Yummy Interactive Inc., a leading provider of technology solutions for the online gaming market, Digital River now offers casual and core gamers playSooner™ streaming delivery technology to enhance and expedite the download process. This new, innovative capability is designed to meet the unique needs of the dynamic and growing online gaming space.

Based on the e-commerce partnership with Yummy Interactive, Digital River now is offering a playSooner capability, a new type of streaming technology. PlaySooner immediately digitally delivers a small portion of a game while the remainder of the game downloads in the background. This allows users to begin playing their new games without having to wait, sometimes for hours, for the entire download to become functional.
