Israeli Diamond Industry to Shine Brightly at Basel

The Israel Diamond Institute (IDI) annual breakfast press conference at BASELWORLD 2007 will present some of Israel’s most exciting special diamond cuts, as well as an update on the Israeli Diamond Industry.

The press conference, to be held on April 13, 2007 at 8:45am in the Osaka- Samarkand Congress Room of the Basel Convention Center, will include a presentation by IDI Managing Director Eli Avidar entitled “The Israeli Diamond Industry: Trends and Triumphs in a Sparkling Market.” A panel discussion entitled “What’s New in Special Cuts” will feature representatives of three of Israel’s leading companies in this field: Guy Hadad Diamonds, Moshe Namdar and Novel Collection.

IDI will once again have its traditional PR booth at the Basel fair in Hall 3.1, Stand NO1. There will be a strong presence of Israeli diamantaires as well, with dozens of Israeli diamantaires exhibiting independently, mainly in Halls 3 and 6.
