SITRONICS Telecom Solutions Expands Its Management Team

Prague, 29th March 2007 –Igor Hulák, the recently appointed head of the SITRONICS Telecom Solutions Division today introduced the new General Director of SITRONICS Telecom Solutions, Czech Republic (formerly STROM telecom) and Vice President of SITRONICS Telecom Solutions as part of the changes to SITRONICS TS’ management team. Pavel Bednář, currently the Executive Director of the company’s Networks Division, will assume the position as of March 31st. Until a replacement is appointed, Pavel Bednář will continue his hitherto duties as Head of Networks. At the same time, hitherto CEO of SITRONICS Telecom Solutions, Czech Republic, Nihad Hurem is assuming the position of First Vice President for New Products and Services of the mother company SITRONICS JSC.

The appointments are a part of the process to consolidate the subsidiaries of SITRONICS JSC which operate in the telco and communications sector and to unite them under the name SITRONICS Telecom Solutions. These appointments follow the recent naming of Igor Hulák as head of the entire SITRONICS Telecom Solutions Division, which underlines the importance of the company’s branch in the Czech Republic. Together with Pavel Bednář, another five people have been appointed to the SITRONICS Telecom Solutions Division’s management team. Mr. Rainer Grumann has been appointed Vice President for Sales, Mr. Andraž Oblak Vice President for Marketing, Mr. Stanislav Lykov becomes Vice President for Finance, Mr. Anastasios Dimopoulos Vice President for Professional Service & System Integration, and Mr. Stefanos Hadjiagapis, Vice President for Research and Development.

Pavel Bednář (37) graduated from the Czech Technical University in Prague where he majored in telecommunications. Pavel Bednář joined STROM telecom, the predecessor of SITRONICS Telecom Solutions, Czech Republic, in 1993 as one of the company’s first employees. He worked for nine years in the Telecommunication Technologies Department where his leadership and personal involvement played a crucial role in the development of the company’s main digital platforms and next generation networks products – the MEDIO and TENNET ranges respectively, which now successfully compete with the products of the world’s largest suppliers of digital switching systems and NGN platforms for mobile and fixed operators. In 2005 Pavel Bednář assumed the position of Executive Director of Technical Division, which employs more than one thousand highly competent engineers who develop and manage ICT products and oversee project management and technical support for the Czech Republic and other countries. In 2006 Pavel was appointed to the Board of Directors.
