GlobeRangers Obtains RFID Integration Partner Certification From LXE
LXE Inc. and GlobeRanger Corporation today announced that GlobeRanger has been certified as an LXE RFID Integration Partner. GlobeRanger, the leading provider of RFID Edge software, mobility and sensor-based applications for both enterprise and government customers, achieved LXE RFID Integration Partner status when it incorporated support for LXE’s vehicle-mounted RFID readers in the latest release of its iMotion Edge platform.
The objective of the LXE RFID Integration Partner Certification program is to develop partners that are qualified and trained to provide integrated solutions that utilize LXE lift truck mounted rugged mobile RFID readers and Spire(r) RX antennas to RFID-enable warehouse operations.
The partnership with GlobeRanger will enable joint customers to easily deploy, monitor and control LXE’s rugged mobile RFID readers and Spire(r) RX antennas in warehouse applications. iMotion further benefits customers by providing a comprehensive infrastructure that enables the integration of multiple data collection technologies into applications.
“RFID technology adds substantial business value to the supply chain,” said Larry Chandler, Vice President of Business Development for GlobeRanger. “The combination of iMotion and LXE’s breakthrough vehicle-mounted RFID readers and voice-enabled mobile computers enables customers to leverage the solution across the organization and create a much more productive supply chain.”
“We are excited to have GlobeRanger as a Certified LXE RFID Integration Partner,” said Ed Krueger, LXE’s Manager of Business Development. “GlobeRanger is a company with a deep technical proficiency in RFID and sensor-based networks. Furthermore, their edge and mobility platforms provide an infrastructure consistent with LXE’s vision for ARIA.”
ARIA (Adaptive Recognition and Information Assurance) is a framework for achieving new levels of efficiency, velocity, visibility and accuracy in supply chain execution. It combines the strengths of multiple technologies, such as RFID, bar-code, voice recognition, sensors and wearable computing, with next-generation software applications and new business processes so that warehouse operators can execute warehouse transactions more efficiently.
GlobeRanger and LXE will be jointly demonstrating an LXE vehicle-mounted RFID reader and voice-enabled mobile computer managed by iMotion in booth No. 910 at the upcoming RFID World Conference, March 26-28, at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Dallas.
