Weatherford International is 2007 Marketer of the Year

HOUSTON - Weatherford International Ltd., a Houston-based oilfield services company has been awarded 2007 Marketer of the Year by the American Marketing Association.

In total, 61 firms were nominated from a broad range of industries. A panel of local, independent business executives selected finalists from the nominees that represented some of the Houston’s best-performing organizations and institutions. Finalists from 18 leading Houston-area corporations were honored. Final judging was done by a panel of independent marketing executives from outside of the Houston market. From the slate of category finalists, Weatherford was selected as Houston’s Marketer of the Year.
