Elekta Repurchased SEK 100M of Its Own Shares

STOCKHOLM, Sweden - Elekta (STO:EKTA) has repurchased 759,271 B shares at an average price of SEK 131.65 totaling SEK 99,958,778.

Accordingly, Elekta’s current holding of own shares amounts to 759,271 B shares, which Elekta’s Board intends to propose to the AGM to be cancelled.

These repurchases were carried out in line with the Board’s decision on March 8, 2007, to mandate the executive management to initiate repurchase of shares in an amount of SEK 100 M.

The total number of shares in Elekta (prior to cancellation of the shares now repurchased) amounts to 93,791,176.
