Microsoft to Host Second Annual Small Business Summit
Microsoft Corp. today announced it will host its second annual Small Business Summit, a free five-day, must-attend event for small-business owners and decision-makers. Microsoft will detail its latest small-business innovations while fostering dynamic dialogue among gathered customers and industry experts about best practices to help small businesses thrive in today’s economy.
On March 19, Kevin Turner, chief operating officer at Microsoft, will give a keynote address highlighting the ways that Microsoft’s tailored solutions can support small businesses to help them reach their full potential. As a part of Turner’s presentation, Bill Gates, chairman of Microsoft, will make a video appearance to help unveil an exciting new communications product for small businesses.
In addition, the Microsoft Small Business Summit will feature presentations from industry experts including Julie Clark, founder of Baby Einstein Co. LLC; Guy Kawasaki, author and venture capitalist; and Jeff and Rich Sloan, creators of StartupNation LLC and hosts of StartupNation Radio. Experts will discuss important small-business topics such as the value of branding, the art of innovation, ways to save time and money when running a business, and methods for better connecting with customers.
