UDR is New Name for United Dominion Realty Trust, Company

RICHMOND, Va. - United Dominion Realty Trust, Inc. has announced that it has officially changed its name to UDR, Inc. unveiled a new logo and corporate identity, and established the name RE3 for its taxable REIT subsidiary activity. The Company’s NYSE ticker symbol will remain UDR but the CUSIP Number for the common stock is now 902653104. UDR is the nation’s fourth largest apartment REIT, managing, buying, selling, developing and redeveloping attractive real estate properties in targeted U.S. markets.

The new UDR logo suggests the opportunity represented by a door opening or a window to the future. To complement the logo, the Company introduced a new tagline, Opening Doors to the Future.
