Woodbridge Brings Ski Barn and R&R Sports Deal Together

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Woodbridge Group, Inc., an innovative middle market mergers and acquisitions firm, has announced the sale of The Ski Barn, Inc. to R&R Sports Company, LLC.

Woodbridge Group represented The Ski Barn in the transaction, the largest ski and snowboard rental company in the East, with five locations in West Virginia and Virginia. The buyer, R&R Sports, operates a number of similar ski-related stores in Utah and Colorado.

“Our multi-channel marketing methodology made this deal a success,” said Don Krier, senior vice president at Woodbridge Group and dealmaker for the transaction. “We marketed The Ski Barn, as we do all of our sell-side clients, using proprietary and purchased databases to contact over 3,000 prospective buyers, a marketing video of the company, blind advertising in select journals and our website, which sees 200,000 visitors a year.”
