COQUITLAM, BC -- Ikona Gear International, Inc. (OTCBB: IKGI), an innovator in compact, lightweight, gearing systems solutions, announced today that Executive Vice President Joe Vosburgh was interviewed by online information provider WallSt.net. During the brief interview Mr. Vosburgh discusses Ikona’s three target markets for its gearing transmission solutions and then focuses on Ikona’s lead market: the oil and gas sector. Mr. Vosburgh points out during the interview that while alternative energy possibilities are getting a great deal of attention now, the continued significant demand for oil and gas will continue for decades and drive exploration to produce a matching supply.

Mr. Vosburgh also draws attention to Ikona’s two primary products that are purpose-built for the oil and gas sector. Ikona Mud Pumps Drives and Ikona Drawworks are the two drilling rig field machines that lead the company’s product line. Ikona sold two mud pumps last month to a major Canadian and U.S. oil drilling firm.

In the interview Mr. Vosburgh noted that Ikona’s lead oil and gas products are 40-50 percent lighter and smaller than conventional mud pump drives and draw works currently being used around the world. Mr. Vosburgh further noted that this substantial savings in size and weight result in significant savings in time and money for the drilling contractor.

During the brief interview, Mr. Vosburgh also discusses the military and automotive applications markets and the senior management team at Ikona.
