Intura Solutions Joins Retail Broadband Alliance

WEBWIRE

ARLINGTON, TX -- Intura Solutions, LP (Intura), a leading supplier of point-of-sale (POS) and business management software for quick service, fast casual and delivery restaurant concepts, has joined the Retail Broadband Alliance, an industry consortium that helps businesses use broadband networks to increase revenue, cut expenses, and improve customer experience.

Intura’s customers will benefit from the Retail Broadband Alliance by moving from a dial-up telephone line to a broadband Internet connection that will optimize operations within their restaurant locations. As part of the Retail Broadband Alliance, Intura will assist customers in selecting from several communications options that will be faster, easier to install and in most cases provide cost savings.

“Intura joined the Retail Broadband Alliance as part of a continuing effort to bring quality products and services from trusted partners to our customers,” stated Gary W. Peek II, president of Intura. “Intura can now provide powerful communication options that streamline business operations and decision support for restaurant businesses through this partnership.”

Intura Vision is a POS and business management solution that allows restaurants to easily and quickly enter and track customer orders. By processing credit and gift cards through a broadband connection, restaurant owners can grow sales by increasing their speed of service and taking orders more quickly. Intura clients can also capitalize on faster Internet connections because important business information can flow more quickly to and from Intura Enterprise, a web-based, multi-unit restaurant management solution.

Retail Broadband Alliance

“New Edge Networks welcomes Intura into the growing Retail Broadband Alliance,” said Paul Salzinzer, director of business development for New Edge Networks. “Intura represents yet another trusted choice for merchants who turn to the Retail Broadband Alliance for support in migrating to broadband and maximizing its value.”

The Retail Broadband Alliance brings together companies that represent products and services used in the entire retail sales supply chain for data networks. The Retail Broadband Alliance now includes more than 230 companies. Retail merchants pick and choose the providers they want.

Working together, Retail Broadband Alliance member companies develop awareness programs that help both merchants and other member companies learn of new certified solutions, technology options, and how to maximize value from new virtual private networks, or VPNs.

High-speed broadband networks help businesses grow revenue, cut expenses, and improve overall client services. New VPNs can provide three times the speed for about half the cost of traditional wide area networks.
