Sysmex: New Tokyo Business Establishments for Greater Presence in the Metropolitan Area

Sysmex Corporation (HQ: Kobe, Japan; president: Hisashi Ietsugu) announced today the foundation of a Tokyo Office and a Metropolitan Area Service Center, effective April 1, 2007. With this move, our offices including affiliates’ in the Metropolitan Area will be relocated to the two new business bases of the Group.

The Company aims that, through closer ties within the Group, we will be able to establish closer communications with the central government, as well as hospital groups and distributors based in Tokyo, improve after-sales support for our customers.



The Tokyo Office is our Group sales base covering the metropolitan area. By relocating the Tokyo Branch and Yokohama Sales Office of the Sysmex Corporation, and the Tokyo Branch of CNA Co., Ltd., our laboratory information systems development and sales subsidiary, to the Tokyo Office, the Company hopes to offer improved solutions to our customers. The new sales office will feature a showroom and training facility, it will also serve as a place for communication with customers, IR, and recruitment.

The Metropolitan Area Service Center is our after-sales support base covering the same Metropolitan Area as the Tokyo Office. By encouraging service engineers to go straight from their homes to customer’s facilities and back home again, the Company intends to increase the speed and quality of our customer service outreach. The Metropolitan Area Service Center will also increase the efficiency of back-office operations and promote the communication with sales representatives.
