WEBWIRE

For the 7th year, Dassault will be at the departure of the ‘Course du Cœur’ at the Champ de Mars on March 28.
Created 21 years ago, this 750km race between Paris and Courchevel mobilizes thousands of people on the topic of organ donations.

The ‘Course du Cœur’ is, indeed, a sporting event with a human goal which aims to sensitize the public with the utility of organ donations through the exploit carried out by transplanted runners.
The Race aims to change people’s attitudes regarding this cause by addressing the public throughout the route, in the few 150 visited cities, but also thanks to the media which relay the event.

On the whole, 14 teams take part this year in the ‘Course du Cœur’. Beneath the Groupe Dassault team, the teams of ASCS Groupe Safran, Baxter, Dexia, Gaz de France, HP, Novartis, Oracle, Roche, Renault, RTE, SAP, CHU of Lille take part to the race... and of course the Trans-Forme team, composed of transplanted persons.
People, being implied in this sporting and human challenge supported by the greatest personalities of medicine, have as an ambition to help Trans-Forme improve the knowledge of this cause of the organ donations.

Simultaneously with the ‘Course du Cœur’, Trans-forme organizes the “10 000 cœurs pour l’hôpital” (10 000 hearts for hospitals) operation.
This action, intended to the children and in particular pupils, aims to mobilize children around the realization of hearts, symbols of generosity and support for the persons receiving a transplant and patients waiting for transplantation.
