CDML Now Available for FileMaker 7 & 8

WEBWIRE

Glen Allen, Va - February 28, 2007 - Thousands of FileMaker users have not been able to upgrade to the current version of FileMaker because their websites are created with CDML. FileMaker discontinued the CDML web language with FileMaker 6.

Recently FMWebschool sent out an email to the FileMaker community asking “Would you be interested in using CDML with FileMaker 7 and 8?”. “I was amazed at the response” said Stephen Knight. “Within 24 hours I received nearly 200 emails from FileMaker users; from large businesses, universities, churches and even FileMaker hosting companies. It is obvious that BlackBelt will fill a critical need.”

What is BlackBelt?
BlackBelt is a PHP tool that enables you to continue using CDML with FileMaker 7 & 8 and FileMaker Server Advanced.

We have preserved 99.8% of the original CDML code and we have even added some great features that were not available before. Now FileMaker users can migrate their sites from FileMaker 6 to FileMaker 8 and continue using CDML.
