(Wilkes-Barre, PA) The movie The Secret was released on the Internet and became a world-wide sensation. Next came a book. Then Oprah Winfrey took notice and featured it on her television show. The Master Key System was written c. 1917 by a St. Louis business man named Charles F. Haanel.
