Visual communications innovator to display latest telework solutions at special event

Leesburg, Virginia, January 21, 2007 - The Telework Consortium, an organization dedicated to the implementation of telework strategies in the public and private sectors, recently moved its office from Herndon, Virginia to the historic district of Leesburg, Virginia in Loudoun County. To introduce the public to its new space and demonstrate state-of-the-art telework tools and strategies, the Consortium will be hosting an Open House on Friday, February 2, from 4 to 7 p.m. The Open House will take place at the new office, One East Market Street, Suite 301, in Leesburg. This event is being sponsored by Telework Consortium’s technology partner, GlobalMedia Group, LLC.

“Our new office allows us to provide teleworking strategies and implementation for Northern Virginia and the rest of the country from a more centralized location in Loudoun County, which has long been a leader in this area,” said William Mularie, Ph.D, chief executive officer of the Telework Consortium. “We look forward to getting to know our neighbors and demonstrating for them some of the tools that can improve efficiencies, reduce costs, and bolster the bottom line.”

In addition to providing refreshments for the Open House, GlobalMedia will be displaying examples of state-of-the-art telework tools, including Conferencing video and Web cameras and microphones suitable for effective virtual meetings in a conference room setting. Staff from GlobalMedia will also participate in the Telework Consortium’s demonstrations of collaborative tools used over the Internet.
