Christa McAuliffe Academy Forms Partnership with Kittitas School District to Launch ACHIEVE Online, Washington’s First Fully Accredited State-wide Online Tuition-free School.

Yakima, WA, January 23, 2007 – With the opening of ACHIEVE Online, families all across the state of Washington can now choose a new, high quality, TUITION-FREE learning option.

ACHIEVE Online will serve Washington students in grades K-12, using the innovative and highly-acclaimed academic system developed by Christa McAuliffe Academy over the past 21 years.

ACHIEVE Online is a self-paced learning system with an open enrollment policy, so students can start classes at any time during the year and progress at their own pace. Students may begin enrolling online immediately for classes that will begin February 1, 2007.

ACHIEVE Online will be hosting numerous family information sessions throughout the state over the next several months to explain the program and the application process. ACHIEVE Online will also be interviewing and hiring highly qualified teachers who are certified in the state of Washington.

Officials of Kittitas School District and ACHIEVE Online will host a joint news conference in Yakima tomorrow, to present additional information and answer questions about this new learning option for Washington students.
