WebSphere Portal Express Version 6.0 is a new solution that allows businesses of less than 1,000 employees or departments within large organizations to be more productive and more responsive to their customers. WebSphere Portal Express provides integrated portal, document management, Web content management and collaboration capabilities in a single package with flexible pricing options.

Designed to help companies receive immediate benefit from their investment, WebSphere Portal Express installs quickly and includes pre-built sample Web sites that can be easily customized and deployed. WebSphere Portal Express provides employees, customers and partners with the ability to create applications that streamline business processes, help organize and aggregate information and applications, as well as provide teams with an easy way to coordinate and manage documents.
