Citrix Access Gateway Positioned in SSL VPN Leader Quadrant by Leading Analyst Firm

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — 1/10/2007 — Citrix Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: CTXS), the global leader in application delivery infrastructure, today announced that the Citrix Access Gateway™ has been positioned in the leaders quadrant by Gartner, Inc. in the “Magic Quadrant for SSL VPN, North America, 3Q06” (1) report.

With the growing amount of remote and mobile workers, SSL VPNs are a growing necessity for organizations of all sizes. Gartner states that revenue in the SSL VPN market grew 20 percent through mid-2006 compared with 2005. The research firm further predicts that by 2008, SSL VPNs will be the primary remote-access method for more than two-thirds of business teleworking employees, more than three-quarters of contractors and more than 90 percent of casual employee access.(2)
