Discretix Digital Rights Management Technology to be deployed on BenQ-Siemens Devices in 2007

BenQ-Siemens feature phones, which support a wide range of premium content from music to games and multimedia, will begin incorporating Discretix’s Multi-Scheme Digital Rights Management (DRM) in 2007.

Discretix’s DRM Multi-Scheme client protects the distribution and consumption of premium content on mobile devices. The DRM client provides a complete implementation of the key schemes in use today: OMA DRM v1.0, OMA DRM v2.0, Microsoft WM-DRM 10 and CPRM, and the flexibility to add new schemes as they become available.
