118 trades appoints Trading Standards Guru as Head of Ethics Committee
Daniel Corby, CEO 118 Group Holdings plc announces the creation of ethics committee headed by former Head of Trading Standards
Speaking about the announcement, Daniel Corby, Group CEO said “over the last 14 months to business has started to think and act like a plc. Having made a number of high profile appointments which include Richard Allan, the former CEO of Perry Group plc, Hugh Craen, the former CEO of Potential Finance Group plc, Peter Hill, the former FD of Dorma Door Controls plc and ME Media Group and Scott Barker as Head of Risk. The creation of the ethics committee back in 2006 is being chaired by the recently retired head of Hertfordshire Trading Standards. Ian McLachlan will have the freedom to review the way the business deals with customers, staff, suppliers and share holders and make recommendations for improvement as appropriate. Our plan is the float the business on AIM during 2008 and we believe that the ethics committee is another positive move ahead of a planned float”
