Kills MRSA, VRE, Clostridium difficile and its Spores

Germ Pro Products, Inc. introduces new, patented technology to effectively reduce Hospital Acquired Infections (HAIs) by the persistent (long lasting) killing of germs, including MRSA, VRE, C. Difficile and its Spores. Germ Pro’s Persistent Action Plan combines our Hand Sanitizing Lotion and Surface Disinfectant to persistently kill germs on Health Care Workers (HCWs) hands and on the surfaces that are touched by HCWs. Since most infections are transmitted by the hands, effective infection control is better achieved by persistently sanitizing both the hands and the surfaces that hands touch.

Independent Laboratory tests show that Germ Pro’s Hand Sanitizing Lotion continues to kill pathogens for up to 4 hours and does not easily wash off. HCW’s apply the lotion at the beginning of the work day and reapply every 3-4 hours or after a hard scrub. This helps the hands from becoming re-infected between normal hand washings. HCW’s should continue to adhere to the HICPAC hand wash guidelines to remove debris and generally keep hands clean.

In addition, our alcohol-free sanitizing lotion forms a polymeric film on the hands that is not water soluble, helping provide protection against the harsh effects of alcohol washes. Vitamin E and other emollients moisturize and help heal the hands. “Some Health Care Workers have to wash their hands more than 50 times per day and their hands become so dried and cracked that they don’t comply properly with hand wash guidelines. Germ Pro’s Surface Disinfectant was developed to be used in conjunction with Germ Pro Hand Sanitizing Lotion. Independent tests indicate that the surface disinfectant kills pathogens up to 28 days. Recent test results by Kansas State University show that Germ Pro’s Surface Disinfectant kills Clostridium Difficile and its Spores in addition to MRSA, VRE and other pathogens. Germ Pro’s Surface Disinfectant should be applied to doors, light switches, bed rails, telephones, remote controls, toilets, countertops, wheelchairs and any other place that HCWs touch. This helps protect HCWs, patients and visitors against picking up pathogens on their hands and contaminating other people and surfaces.
