TBN Rolls out “Primary Focus” with Host "Dr. Clavin Bremer" for May Sweeps Week

May 3, 2004 (Los Angeles)----It’s May sweeps week for the networks and the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) is rolling out its big guns. At the top of its list is “Primary Focus”—a cutting-edge half-hour television magazine program that addresses contemporary issues that people are talking about. Through expert interviews and personal stories, Primary Focus tackles pressing and controversial topics of ethical, moral, and spiritual significance. It does so in an insightful and entertaining way that enlightens and challenges its viewers.

It highlights the incredible pressures that police officers face and how the stress can lead to burnout, marital and family problems, alcoholism, and numerous other emotional and behavioural disorders.

Primary Focus is hosted by Dr. Calvin Bremer, a pastor who understands how faith is an essential part of many people’s lives and deserves attention on television. Bremer wants to produce a program that addresses how spirituality and ethics relate to everyday issues. Before his appointment as Executive Producer for Primary Focus, Bremer spent more than twenty years as a pastor of a church with over 1200 members.

Primary Focus debuts on the Trinity Broadcasting Network on May 7. Episodes will air weekly on Saturdays at 1:30 p.m. and Tuesdays at 9:00 p.m. (all times are Pacific).
