Agreement to deliver healthcare IT and imaging services to 40-hospital group

RSNA (South Hall A #3339) / Chicago, Illinois- November 29, 2006, Agfa HealthCare announces today that the company has agreed to a multi-million pound deal with the Nuffield Hospital group, a large, private healthcare provider in the UK. The deal calls for the installation Agfa HealthCare’s next-generation PACS (Picture Archiving and Communications System), IMPAXTM 6.2™, Agfa’s RIS (Radiology Information System), CR (Computed Radiography) systems and Initiate™ MPI (Master Patient Index). The installation will begin in January 2007, with all 40 hospitals expected to be complete by December 2007.
