SANTA CLARA, CA—NOVEMBER 9, 2006—NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in programmable graphics processor technologies, today announced plans for a multi-city retail promotional tour beginning Saturday, November 11, 2006.

The Reality Tour will visit 23 cities in 15 countries, including seven cities throughout North America. At each stop, consumers can experience first-hand the Company’s just-released products: NVIDIA® GeForce® 8800 GTX and GeForce 8800 GTS graphics processors and the NVIDIA nForce® 680i SLI motherboard.

The Reality Tour will make stops in the following North American locations on Saturday, November 11, 2006 from store open to close:
Fry’s Electronics: Silicon Valley, CA and Chicago, IL
Micro Center: Atlanta, GA and Orange County, CA
CompUSA: Dallas, TX
J&R Music World: New York City, NY
Future Shop: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Retail customers can compete in head-to-head mini gaming tournaments, see the latest demos showcasing the newest NVIDIA hardware, and participate in raffles for NVIDIA products co-sponsored by NVIDIA graphics card partners eVGA, BFG Technologies, and XFX.

“The tour is a great opportunity for CompUSA customers in Dallas to experience firsthand the capabilities of the latest graphics processor,” said Brian Woods, executive vice president and general merchandising manager at CompUSA. “Gamers and computer enthusiasts expect CompUSA to carry the latest in new computer technology, and NIVIDIA is helping us deliver on that promise.”

NVIDIA GeForce graphics processing units (GPUs) provide a superior computing experience by offloading graphics processing duties from the CPU. NVIDIA GPUs enhance performance and provide a significantly better experience in graphics intensive tasks such as viewing and editing photos and video, playing games, and using processor-intensive applications such as Google Earth or Adobe Acrobat. NVIDIA GPUs are also essential for accelerating the Windows Vista experience by offering an enriched 3D user interface, increased productivity, vibrant photos, smooth, high-definition videos, and realistic games.

“We’re eager to show our latest flagship technologies to computer users and gaming enthusiasts,” said Ujesh Desai, general manager of desktop GPUs at NVIDIA. “NVIDIA graphics deliver a powerfully immersive gaming experience as well as an extraordinary high-definition movie experience. People are going to be blown away when they see what our new motherboard and graphics processors can do.”
