EDS’ Tom Warsop to Present Findings from Study on Global Expansion in Life Insurance at 2006 Global Financial Leadership Forum
31 Oct 2006 - PLANO, Texas – EDS vice president of Financial Services Tom Warsop will present the findings from a study entitled “Competencies for Global Expansion: Are you Fit for Travel?” at the 2006 Global Financial Leadership Forum. The event will take place at 10:30 am EST on Monday, November 13, 2006 at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City.
During the event Warsop will give those attending a first-look at customized research, conducted by Datamonitor for EDS, that examines trends and growth opportunities for life insurers globally. With an aging population and an increased life expectancy of those populations, the business is evolving at a rapid pace with significant opportunities for companies selling life insurance.
The study will address life insurers’:
* drivers and barriers for expansion
* target markets for expansion
* types of products for new and emerging markets as well as the branding of products
* IT and operational functionality for growth
EDS, in partnership with the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI), will be hosting the 2006 Global Financial Leadership Forum for senior business executives, November 12-14, 2006, at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City. This year’s forum focuses on the decision to go international and asks the question: Are you Fit to Travel? And more important: Are you Fit to Stay?
