Sponsored by The Women’s Bond Club (WBC) of New York and Thomson Chic, the Thomson Financial Women’s Network Group, the 2nd annual event will feature a panel discussion on forward-looking trends and opportunities in the global markets by leading experts from the financial services industry. The panel discussion will focus on the impact of the booming private equity market on U.S. employment, productivity and global investments; and the performance of currency in emerging markets, among other subjects. Sharon Rowlands, CEO, Thomson Financial and Nancy Schneir of the WBC will introduce the panel.

Rebecca Quick, co-anchor of CNBC TV’s “Squawk Box”, will serve as panel moderator. Panelists include Diana Furchgott-Roth, economist and senior fellow, Hudson Institute; Elizabeth K. Miller, managing director, Trevor Stewart Burton & Jackson; Rhonda Staskow, regional director foreign exchange, IFR Markets; Rita Kochhar, international economist and associate director, Bear Stearns, and Sheryl King, senior economist, Merrill Lynch.
