Specially Tailored Activities, Content and Resources Deliver Increased Value and Enhance Conference Experience for Partners

REDWOOD SHORES, CALIF. 17-OCT-2006 Oracle today announced that this year’s Oracle OpenWorld will feature a wide range of dedicated activities tailored toward the specific needs of Oracle’s partner ecosystem. The expanded partner-related activities include daily programs containing partner-focused education and events, and networking sessions with Oracle executives. These additional opportunities better position partners to build, market and sell Oracle-based solutions and services.

In addition, this year partners were offered, through an open call-for-papers, Oracle OpenWorld speaking sessions. These sessions give partners greater exposure to conference attendees and recognizes the value Oracle places on the contribution of partners’ solutions and services to Oracle’s ecosystem.

“Oracle is committed to ensuring that partners get access to the right tools, content and resources to help speed time to market,” said Doug Kennedy, Vice President, Worldwide Alliances and Channels at Oracle. “Our expanded line-up of partner-focused events at Oracle OpenWorld clearly illustrates the value we place on our partners and their ability to create unique solutions and service offerings for our joint customers.”
