Sprint Powers Free Laughs With Exclusive Pale Force Content

WEBWIRE

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — 10/12/2006 - Now Sprint (NYSE: S) subscribers with video enabled handsets can follow along with the “pasty” crusaders, Jim Gaffigan and Conan O’Brien, as they fight crime with their paleness in Gaffigan’s animated comic series, Pale Force. The shorts, written by Gaffigan and New Yorker cartoonist Paul Noth (who also illustrates them) are available today, and are free to Sprint Power Vision(SM) subscribers.

The Pale Force cartoons can be downloaded a week before they are available on NBC.com, giving Sprint customers an exclusive, first look at the adventures of “Paleman” and his scrawny sidekick, Conan. Tune in to Conan tonight, where Gaffigan will appear as a special guest and introduce the latest installment in the Pale Force series live to a national audience.

“Our Power Vision technology is a perfect platform for offering fun and unique programming like the Pale Force episodes,” said Anita Newton, vice president of marketing for Sprint. “The partnership with NBC and Late Night is a natural fit for Sprint because it allows us to put the power of laughter in our subscribers’ hands, and take it wherever they go.”

To access Pale Force on Sprint Vision phones, power up the media player, type “24” and scroll to “Pale Force” or simply text the word “PALE” to number 2666.*
